How should I take care of/wash it?
Hand wash: Use low temperatures up to 30 °C. Wash with similar colors. Don't use a detergent or choose a delicate detergent for silk or bamboo. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Air dry. Do not tumble dry.
Bamboo can’t be washed with regular detergent due to regular detergent containing enzymes that increase the effectiveness, but not caring about sensitive materials.
Bamboo is a sensitive and natural material which will contract slightly during washing. That can lead to small variations in the color.
Stains: Don’t rub on stains, as “dusty” areas might occur on the fabric. Pre-soak in cold water with mild detergent for 5-10 minutes. For oil or grease stains, use professional dry cleaning.
Ironing: Use a low temperature setting and no steam.

Should I choose a bamboo or silk bonnet?
Silk bonnets and bamboo bonnets are both excellent choices when it comes to beauty sleep. But since the production of silk kills silkworms, it is not an option for vegans or people worried about animal welfare.
Bamboo is often considered a sustainable material due to its relatively low environmental impact. As one of the fastest-growing plants, it can be harvested more quickly than many other resources.
We use bamboo instead of silk due to it being a vegan and sustainable option and having an amazingly sleek and smooth surface.
