How it works
Curl Crush™ Defining Mousse is a lightweight hair mousse for curly hair. This Curly Girl Method-approved styling product works to define all curl types, while boosting volume and body. It enhances the natural texture of your hair, leaving your curls bouncy and defined with long-lasting hold. The secret? Pullulan, a natural starch that forms a lightweight film on the hair, gently defining curls and coils while protecting against frizz. And since pullulan is water-soluble, this mousse for curly hair won’t build up on curls and weigh them down.
We also formulated Curl Crush™ Defining Mousse to moisturize and strengthen delicate curls with a host of antioxidant-rich, hydrating botanicals and rice protein. So your curls keep getting healthier with regular use! For best results, use it with other Curl Crush™ series products.

How to use
Shake well. Dispense onto palm and apply to damp hair. Run through damp curls with a wide-tooth comb for even distribution, then shape curls with hands. Air-dry or diffuse with a hairdryer on low heat. For extra volume, work this mousse for curly hair from roots to ends.

Can it be applied to dry hair?
We formulated this hair mousse for curly hair to be used on damp hair. Moisture allows the product to spread more easily, and results in more even coverage, and a soft, cast-free finish. However, this mousse for curls can be used on dry hair to smooth flyaways. If you want to refresh dry curls, we recommend using the Curl Crush™ Defining Cream.
