Kaolin

A naturally occurring clay mineral that is commonly used in skincare and cosmetic products. It is named after the Kao-ling mountain in China, where it was first discovered. Kaolin has excellent absorbent properties, making it effective in absorbing excess oil from the scalp and hair. Additionally, it serves as a versatile thickening agent and texture enhancer in a variety of cosmetic products, contributing to the creamy and smooth consistency of formulations.
